The Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity system can be used in smartphones, PCS, VR/XR/AR and other terminals, including system solutions from baseband to antennas. The new Qualcomm QXM1086 for 5-7GHz and QXM103 RF front-end modules for 2.4GHz, as well as breakthrough Qualcomm ultraBAW filter technology and Qualcomm duplexers, improve overall wireless performance and energy efficiency. According to Qualcomm, when Wi-Fi is transmitted, it can save up to 1W of peak power.
At the same time, Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 also has high-frequency concurrent multi-connection technology, which can aggregate two channels at the same time in the 5GHz or 6GHz band, so as to achieve a peak speed of 5.8Gbps and lower latency than the previous generation.
For countries and regions that do not have the 6GHz band, this technology can also help users in these regions achieve peak speeds of up to 4.3Gbps.
Qualcomm also provides a professional-grade Wi-Fi 7 professional networking platform, which can bring a new benchmark for Wi-Fi 7 performance for Daqing enterprises, top home networks and other systems. In addition, there is a Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 immersive home networking platform designed for home users, which can take advantage of multi-gigabit connectivity and wire-comparable stability to bring reliable whole-home network coverage to home users.

Many terminals, including Xiaomi Mi 13, Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro, vivo X90 Pro+, iQOO 11 Pro, moto X40, Red Devil 8 Pro, OnePlus 11, Nubia Z50 and Honor Magic5 series, have been equipped with Qualcomm FastConnect 7800. In addition, Wi-Fi 7 access points and routers, including Xiaomi 10 Gigabit routers, TP-Link Deco BE95 Family Mesh System, and TP-Link Omada Enterprise Access Points, will also be launched soon, bringing users a better network experience together with the aforementioned terminals.
Qualcomm’s return to supplying 5G chips to Huawei is fake news
Previously, it was reported that Qualcomm can already supply 5G chips for Huawei, and the Huawei Mate 60 mobile phone that came out in September 2023 will support 5G networks. This also makes many Huawei mobile phone users feel happy.
Unfortunately, on June 13, 2023, Yu Chengdong, executive director of Huawei, CEO of Terminal BG, and CEO of Intelligent Vehicle Solution BU, told First Finance and Economics that “Qualcomm’s resumption of supplying 5G chips to Huawei is fake news”.
It is understood that on May 15, 2019, the US Department of Commerce included Huawei and 70 affiliated companies in the “Entity List”. In the future, without the approval of the US government, Huawei will not be able to purchase components from American companies. After September 15, 2020, Huawei’s Kirin 9000 chip became a swan song, which also made many people sigh.
However, with outstanding comprehensive product capabilities, Huawei smartphones still win the market. According to Omdia, Huawei mobile phone shipments will be 28 million units in 2022. The reporter of China Securities News learned from people in the industry chain that Huawei has raised its target for mobile phone shipments in 2023 to 40 million. From this point of view, Huawei’s smartphones are recovering strongly and have not been negatively affected by the lack of 5G.
